The town's sacred well has gone dry. Livestock in the area have begun to disappear too. What a wretched curse on these poor farmers! Several townsfolk have decended within to leave sacrifices for the goddess of the well. They hoped that she would show mercy - none have returned. The well is surrounded by rats, and a foul odor eminates from its depths...
